The curriculum of the Master of Accounting program at IBI Kesatuan offers two specializations: Public Sector Accounting and Financial Accounting and Capital Markets.
SPECIALIZATIONS
- Public Sector Accounting
Public Sector Accounting focuses on the application of accounting principles in public organizations such as central and regional governments, government institutions and agencies, and other public sector entities, including foundations, community organizations, and political parties. This field emphasizes financial accountability and transparency, recognizing that public organizations are accountable to society at large. Graduates of the Master of Accounting program are expected to address challenges in budgeting, control, and auditing within public organizations, equipping them to navigate the complexities of public financial management.
- Financial Accounting and Capital Markets
This specialization delves into three primary financial decisions: investment, funding, and dividend policies, which are central to financial management in the business sector. It also includes the study of derivative assets such as options, futures, and warrants, as well as topics like inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates, with a focus on corporate financial practices. Graduates are prepared to tackle challenges in financial accounting and contribute to enhancing company value through comprehensive financial management expertise.

Admission Requirements for the Master’s in Accounting Program
- A photocopy of a legalized bachelor’s (S1) diploma.
- A photocopy of a legalized transcript of grades.
- A photocopy of a valid ID card.
- A 4×6 cm photograph.
- Completion of the entrance selection test (TOEFL and TPA).
