On Tuesday (April 5), the Deputy Mayor of Bogor inaugurated the Gebyar Ramadhan event with the Gudang Village UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) with the theme “Gelar Kebahagiaan di Bulan Ramadhan” (Spreading Happiness in the Month of Ramadan) on Jalan Kampung Cincau, Gudang Village, Bogor Tengah District. Gebyar Ramadhan aims to help improve the economy of local UMKM after two years of being hit by the pandemic.

The inauguration ceremony began at 4:00 p.m. and was attended by Dedie Abdul Rachim as Deputy Mayor of Bogor, the entire Gebyar Ramadhan committee, Bambang Hengky R, S.Pi., M.M., Ph.D. as a representative of IBI Kesatuan, local MSMEs, RT/RW of Gudang Village, IBI Kesatuan students, and the general public.

Bambang Hengky R, S.Pi., M.M., Ph.D. delivered a speech at the event. He stated that IBI Kesatuan fully supports the Gebyar Ramadhan event and hopes that it will provide opportunities for SMEs in Gudang and Babakan Pasar neighborhoods to promote their products.

In addition, Mashadi S.E., M.M., as the event coordinator from IBI Kesatuan, said that this series of events was also held to establish a tourist destination village, and the first thing to do was to hold a Ramadan Festival for MSMEs in the Gudang and Babakan Pasar sub-districts. He hoped that this event would help MSMEs move up a class, one of which was to increase the turnover of MSMEs in the surrounding area and introduce their products to the wider community.

The Gebyar Ramadhan event is not only intended for business owners but also for the community to feel the joy of Ramadan. This activity also serves as a starting point to develop MSMEs, especially in the Gudang sub-district, so that their businesses can continue to grow.

During this month-long Ramadan event, IBI Kesatuan, Bank BJB, community organizations in Gudang Village such as RT, RW, Karang Taruna, and local youth are directly involved. It is hoped that this event will become an annual tradition during Ramadan.
