On Saturday (September 10), the IBI Kesatuan Student Association held its 2022 Inaugural Lecture with the theme “Welcome to the New Adventure Prepare Yourself to be a Good Generation.” The event was held in a hybrid format from 7:00 a.m. until completion, in the IBI Kesatuan 6th floor hall and via Zoom Meeting. The event was attended by … participants, who were new students at IBI Kesatuan.

In this inaugural lecture, Shafira Alfarisi, the No. 1 National Outstanding Student and CEO & Founder of Indonesia Event Motivator Speaker, and Micky Alexandry, Owner of klasik.co, Coffee Shop Consultant, and 2018 alumnus of IBI Kesatuan, were present.

Firdaus Amyar, SE., MA., Ph.D., Ak., CA., LCCC., CSFA, Vice Rector 1 for Academic Affairs at IBI Kesatuan, delivered his remarks at the 2022 Inaugural Lecture. Mr. Firdaus welcomed all new students to IBI Kesatuan. In his remarks, he emphasized that students are now expected to manage themselves to become individuals with strong character.

He also stated that IBI Kesatuan lecturers who have been teaching for decades are very ready to guide students as if they were their own children. He hopes that with this inaugural lecture, students can step into a new life, because the lectures held today and for the next four years will influence the future of students. He is committed to building IBI Kesatuan to be even greater.

Rosita, as the chairperson of the 2022 First Lecture, also gave her remarks. Rosita said that the lecture period is a crucial time for all new students. Rosita hopes that through this activity, students can become the best version of themselves so that they can become strong, resilient, and competent individuals.

The material was presented by Shafira Alfarisi with Messy Mayangsari, S.Pd., M.Pd as the first moderator. Shafira explained how to find passion within students and build strong character. Shafira also gave tips that students should become a better version of themselves every day.

The next session was a sharing session presented by Micky Alexandry with Annisa Muslimah as the second moderator. Micky provided tips and advice on what students need to prepare during lectures and how students can adapt to changes in business.

The entire academic community of IBI Kesatuan extends a warm welcome and best wishes for a successful academic journey at IBI Kesatuan to all new students of the 2022/2023 academic year.
