IBI Kesatuan, through the IBI Kesatuan Islamic Student Forum, held a Ramadan Celebration Summit in collaboration with the IBI Kesatuan Student Activity Unit on April 15, 2023.

This event featured Islamic studies with Habib Mahdi bin Hamzah Assegaf explaining the Virtues of Ramadan and the Virtues of Lailatul Qadar. The term “thousand months” is derived from the story of Samson (Syam’un) from the Israelites. The Surah Al-Qadr was revealed, and it explains that Laylat al-Qadr occurs on the nights of the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 29th. The exact night is kept secret, but it has certain characteristics or signs, such as the day not being too hot.

In addition to Islamic studies, there is also assistance for underprivileged residents and orphans around the IBI Kesatuan campus. The committee’s hopes for the series of activities in the Kesatuan 2023 Ramadan Celebration include several activities such as studies, sharing a message from Allah, khataman qur’an, sharing takjil, sharing basic necessities, and providing assistance to orphans. It is hoped that the campus community and its surroundings will feel the goodness and blessings of this Ramadan so that we can become servants who continue to strive to be better.
