The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the Bogor Institute of Business and Informatics achieved the main cluster. The clusterization was revealed in the announcement of the classification of higher education institutions during the launch of the Research and Community Service Guidelines on Wednesday (March 8).

Dr. Iriyadi, AK., MComm., CA., Head of LPPM IBI Kesatuan, confirmed this. “IBI Kesatuan has been designated as a top cluster, through the Decree of the Director of Research, Technology, and Community Service Number 0241/E5/DT.06.01/2023 dated February 28, 2022, concerning the Determination of Higher Education Clustering,” he said.

Director of Research, Technology, and Community Service, M. Faiz Syuaib, stated that the performance data taken into account is data that has been verified and validated by verifiers from the Higher Education Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM). This performance data includes authors, affiliations, journals, research, community service, intellectual property rights, and books. Furthermore, DRTPM emphasized that this clustering is not a ranking, but rather a grouping of universities according to their performance qualifications as a basis for developing research roadmaps and strategic plans, as well as a foundation for determining the authority to manage research and community service in universities.

The clustering of universities as a method for identifying, measuring performance, and grouping universities is expected to accelerate university performance through collaboration schemes that unite and synergize the potential of universities through cross-cluster collaboration in improving the quality of research and community service.

The improvement in the cluster obtained by LPPM IBI Kesatuan is the result of the hard work of the IBI Kesatuan academic community, including students who play an active role in carrying out research activities, PKM, and scientific publications, including obtaining copyright certificates in various forms of work.
