In order to improve preparedness for uncertain conditions such as natural disasters and emergencies, IBI Kesatuan collaborated with the Fire and Rescue Service to hold training and simulations on handling natural disasters, fires, and earthquakes on Saturday, March 18, 2023, which was attended by IBI Kesatuan staff and students.

This training consists of lectures and practical sessions conducted by the Fire and Rescue Service and the Bogor City Branch of the Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps. The Bogor City Branch of the Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps will deliver lectures on fire emergencies and natural disasters, as well as first aid for accidents.

After the material was presented in the hall on the 6th floor, the training activity continued with an emergency simulation involving all relevant staff. It began with evacuation procedures, determining assembly points, using fire extinguishers, and utilizing fire hoses.

Through this activity, the Fire and Rescue Service hopes that IBI Kesatuan can become an educational institution that can provide knowledge about how to respond to emergency situations correctly and can help the surrounding community make use of the facilities.
