On Thursday (August 25), SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang inaugurated its Educational Investment Gallery (GI) to promote and instill awareness of investing from an early age. The GI-Edukasi SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang Bogor is under the guidance of IBI Kesatuan. IBI Kesatuan itself has a GI BEI that is still active today.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Marco Poetra Kawet as Head of the Jakarta Representative Office of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Dr. Nonong Winarni, S.Pd.M.Pd as Acting Head of the West Java Province Education Office Region 1, Yusuf Iskandar as Chairman of the Babakan Madang 1 Public High School Committee, Dra. Vera Varianti, M.Pd as Principal of Babakan Madang 1 Public High School, Yoyon Supriadi, SE., MM, CSA., CIB as Head of the IBI Kesatuan Bogor Investment Gallery, and Andri Muharizal as Head of the MNC Sekuritas Investment Gallery.

Dra. Vera Varianti, M.Pd, Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang, expressed her deepest gratitude to all parties, including GI BEI IBI Kesatuan, for the launch of this Educational Investment Gallery. She hopes that with the presence of the Educational Investment Gallery at SMA Negeri 1 Babakan Madang, students can learn and become independent young people who contribute to the nation.

Yoyon Supriadi, SE., MM, CSA., CIB, Head of the IBI Kesatuan Investment Gallery, also said that GI-Edukasi is an innovation resulting from the school’s hard work in presenting something new and perhaps not yet widely available in Indonesia, so that students have more in-depth knowledge about investment.

He hopes that the knowledge students have about investment will be shared with their relatives, so that there are investment alternatives that greatly support the country’s economy. IBI Kesatuan expresses its gratitude and hopes that the Investment Education Gallery will not only be crowded when it is inaugurated, but also receive support from all parties so that it can provide many benefits to the community.
