On Friday (April 22), LLDIKTI Region IV held a career development socialization event for permanent lecturers at IBI Kesatuan in Building B – 6th Floor, IBI Kesatuan. The speaker was Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., M.T., Head of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java and Banten. The purpose of this activity was to motivate lecturers to enhance their careers as educators and to build high-quality higher education institutions that produce qualified graduates.

It turns out that Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., M.T., Head of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java, suddenly visited the IBI Kesatuan Campus. He stated that the Higher Education Data Center (PDDikti) report for IBI Kesatuan was very satisfactory, the management of the faculty ranks at IBI Kesatuan was excellent, and the academic programs were generally well-accredited, with several programs holding an A accreditation.

The event was conducted in a hybrid format, starting at 1:30 PM until completion, attended by Prof. Dr. Bambang Pamungkas, Ak., MBA., CA., CPA., CSFA., CFRA, as the Professor and Chairman of the Senate of IBI Kesatuan, Vice Rector 2 & Vice Rector 3 of IBI Kesatuan, Deans of Faculties and Directors of Vocational Programs at IBI Kesatuan, Heads of Study Programs, and permanent faculty members of IBI Kesatuan.

During his presentation, Mr. Samsuri emphasized that high-quality graduates must be guided by equally high-quality faculty members.

“Higher education institutions must provide quality education for all Indonesians. Lecturers must be mentors, facilitators, and innovators for all their students,” he said.

“If you want to be a professional lecturer who can help higher education institutions become quality campuses, then you must be supported by lecturers with doctoral degrees,” he added.

In addition, he also explained that the management of higher education institutions begins with investing in quality human resources in terms of both qualifications and career, as well as adherence to principles and quality.

The event continued with a question and answer session and group photo. Hopefully, this event can motivate all educators to build a better university.
