On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, IBI Kesatuan collaborated with KPP Pratama to hold a socialization event on the change of NIK to NPWP, which took place in the 6th floor hall of IBI Kesatuan.

Based on records from the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance, 53 million NIKs had been validated as NPWPs as of January 8, 2023. This figure is equivalent to 69 million NIKs that have been validated. Attended by all IBI Kesatuan employees, KPP Pratama, as the resource person, hoped that this socialization could convey complete information related to technicalities, capabilities, and comprehensive and clear knowledge about taxes, accompanied by KPP Pratama and Tax Volunteers. It is hoped that this socialization can accelerate the process of matching NIK and NPWP.

In addition to socialization, there is also assistance in filing annual tax returns by tax volunteers. To provide education on filling out the form and reporting tax returns, the Directorate General of Taxes provides an e-billing service, which is an electronic payment system (billing system) based on the Generation 2 State Revenue Module (MPN-G2), which facilitates taxpayers to pay their taxes more easily, quickly, and accurately. It is faster because tax payments can now be made through internet banking or ATM machines, eliminating the need to queue at the teller. In addition, there is no longer a need to bring the Tax Payment Slip (SSP) to the bank or post office; simply show the billing code to make a tax payment transaction to the teller or enter it as a tax payment code at an ATM machine or internet banking.

Through this activity, IBI Kesatuan and KPP Pratama Bogor hope that the entire academic community of IBI Kesatuan will be more tax compliant for a better Indonesia.
