The Bogor City Automation and Office Management Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP – OTKP) held a Workshop on the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM). The event was held offline on the 6th floor of the IBI Kesatuan Building and lasted for two days from Tuesday to Wednesday (September 27-28).

This activity aimed to provide schools in Bogor City with an understanding of the independent curriculum and to produce office teaching modules in line with the Independent Curriculum, considering that the independent curriculum has only been implemented in several schools in Bogor City, so that the experience and knowledge of the implementation of the independent curriculum has not been fully understood and felt by all schools.

The Independent Curriculum Workshop was attended by 45 participants from 50 schools in Bogor City, with Hj. Otin Martini, M.Pd. as the Head of the West Java Province Education Office Branch 2, Drs. Mulya Murprihartono, M.Si., M.Pd. Chairman of the Bogor City Vocational School Principals’ Working Group (MKKS SMK Kota Bogor), Asep Mulyadi, M.Pd. as Chairman of the Bogor City Vocational School Subject Teacher Working Group (MGMP OTKP SMK Kota Bogor), Dr. Nusa Muktiadji, Ir., MM. as Vice Rector 3 of IBI Kesatuan, and Dr. Ratih Puspitasari, SE., MBA. as Dean of the Faculty of Business at IBI Kesatuan.

In their speeches, Asep Mulyadi and Mulya Murprihartono expressed their hope that this workshop would provide participants with new knowledge about the Merdeka Curriculum and enable them to apply it properly and appropriately in all schools.

The workshop explained the importance of information about the Merdeka Curriculum. It is important to disseminate information about the Merdeka Curriculum so that teachers can better understand it and adapt it for maximum effectiveness in the classroom.
